1. Verify the product, not only the app
Finding the same app in two storefronts is not enough. The app may list multiple purchase products with similar names. Verify the underlying in-app product when available, and compare the same entitlement and billing period.
If one storefront only exposes a monthly offer while another shows an annual offer, do not call the cheaper number a regional discount. Normalize billing terms only as a clearly labelled supplementary calculation.
2. Keep local and converted amounts separate
Always save the native currency and storefront region. An approximate FX conversion can help you scan results, but it is not the same as a checkout quote.
Record when the product price was observed and when the FX reference was obtained. A quote from last month and a quote from today are not directly comparable without a freshness warning.
3. Do not confuse a partial scan with a worldwide minimum
If only four of more than a hundred storefronts were checked, the smallest observed price is merely the lowest among those checked. PriceRadar deliberately labels incomplete coverage rather than declaring an unverified worldwide winner.
Before acting, review purchase eligibility, taxes and the final storefront price. A reference price tells you where to research; it does not guarantee that you can buy there.
